Established in 2025, Fireweed Baking Company turns ordinary moments into celebrations with flavorful scratch made baked goods and seasonal catering menus.

Chef Lynette Pflueger graduated from the Art Institute of California in Los Angeles with a degree in Culinary Arts in 2006. Since then she has built a career in baking and pastry in various establishments around the country earning recognition from Food & Wine Magazine (nominated for The People’s Best New Pastry Chef, 2013), Starchefs online magazine (featured 2013), and the prestigious James Beard House (Featured Chef, 2016). Since 2023 Lynette has been working in the Tribal Food Sovereignty Program at the Spokane Tribal Network where she is able to combine her culinary knowledge and her passion for traditional foods, plants, medicine, and sustainability to share and learn alongside her tribal community. In 2025 Lynette formally established Fireweed Baking Company, bringing scratch made baked goods to Spokane and the surrounding area (by order only, hunting for a storefront soon!)
